The Through-Line Problem: Field Notes from IEI Spring Summit San Antonio

This week, our team was in San Antonio for the Institute for Education Innovation Spring Summit - three days alongside superintendents and district leaders organized around one theme: Scaling with Intention.

What we heard in the 1:1s reinforced something we see everywhere: the ambition is there. The gap is infrastructure.

Districts with 18 sites struggling to keep curriculum coherent across buildings. Districts with 92 schools that have done the hard work of alignment, but are still cobbling it together in Google Docs. Compliance officers manually verifying whether materials are actually being used in classrooms. Teachers spending more time unpacking resources than teaching.

The challenge isn't vision. It's the through-line.

That's the exact problem NovoDia was built to solve - curriculum infrastructure that holds the system together so the people in it can do what they came to do.

Proud of Bryan R. McCorkle, Alyssa Mathewson, and Connor Kant for representing us with such depth and energy.

If we met in San Antonio and didn't get to go deep - let's find time. Read More
